  1. Day 1 Drive from Guwahati

Drive from Guwahati OR Jorhat to Silghat port and late noon embark on the ship for 7 nights / 8 days cruise. Dinner and overnight on board.

  2. Day 2 Kaziranga the UNESCO World Heritage

Breakfast and drive to Kaziranga the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kaziranga National Park for morning jeep safari. Later Enjoy lunch at Diphlu River Lodge before taking another jeep safari in the little visited Burapahar Range before returning to the boat.  Kaziranga National Park is home to the world’s largest population of the Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros as well as the Indian Wild Water Buffalo. It has also earned the distinction of having the highest density of Royal Bengal Tigers (one every five sq. km.), making this park an incredibly rich biodiversity hotspot. With its marshy swamps and thickets of elephant grass, the park supports large populations of Indian elephants, Indian bison, swamp deer, and Capped Langurs.  Dinner and overnight on board.

  3. Day 3 Kaziranga

Morning breakfast and visit a picturesque Assam tea plantation before we cruise sailing past Kaziranga . This unique experience combines adventure and tranquillity, making it an unforgettable part of your journey through Assam. Whether you’re a nature enthusiast, a wildlife photographer, or simply seeking a peaceful escape, cruising through Kaziranga National Park offers a captivating encounter with one of the world’s finest wildlife habitats. Anchor for the night near Biswanath village. Lunch, Dinner and overnight stay on board .

  4. Day 4 Kaziranga

Morning breakfast and visit Biswanath, known for its Ahom-period Shiva temples. Walk through this quaint Assamese riverside town before embarking aboard and setting off again, with Kaziranga still on the far bank. Keep an eye out for wild elephants which have been spotted while sailing past the National Park, and once or twice, memorably, a tiger. A leisurely afternoon of gently cruising up the river offers a good chance of spotting the endangered Gangetic dolphin. Lunch, Dinner and overnight on board.

  5. Day 5 Kaziranga

Morning breakfast and watch as life unfold on the riverbanks as you cruise past. The languid pace of life on-board the boat offers a rare opportunity to sit and watch the world slip by, chat with fellow guests, or catch up on your reading. You’ll have time to stretch your legs with a walk through a river side village or on a sandbank island, whilst gaining an insight into life in rural northeast India.

  6. Day 6 Majuli Island

Morning breakfast, by that time we reach Majuli Island. One of the world’s largest river islands and a microcosm of Assamese culture, Majuli is much-photographed but little-visited. It is a stronghold of the peaceful religion of neo-Vaishnavism and the elegant island satra’s (or known as monasteries) dating back to the 15th century. These satra’s have played a crucial role in preserving and promoting Assamese art, culture, and traditions. The celibate monks showcase a unique way of life where the faithful live simply, offering worship through gayan-bayan (songs and musical instruments), dance-drama and recitation of scriptures. Visit a monastery at Auniati with its eclectic museum, then attend a dance performance at Kamalabari monastery before we cruise up to Salmara Ghat. In the afternoon, you’ll have the opportunity to visit a nearby village known for its traditional handicrafts. Lunch, dinner and overnight on board .

  7. Day 7 Brahmaputra that is Sibsagar

Morning breakfast and visit the once royal kingdom of Assam along the Brahmaputra that is Sibsagar, which also served as the capital of the Ahom kings. Sibsagar serves as a testament to the Ahoms’ enduring legacy and the unique blend of Indian and Southeast Asian influences that shaped their culture. Shan by origin but later converted to Hinduism, the Ahoms ruled Assam for some 600 years until the mid-1820s. Visit temples with stupa-like profiles and palaces of distinctive form. The temple tank here is believed to be the world’s largest hand-excavated reservoir and quite the feat of engineering. Return to your ship and cruise towards Neamati Ghat, close to Jorhat. Bid adieu with a warm farewell dinner hosted by the crew.

  8. Day 8 Dibrugarh airport

Early morning disembark ship and transfer to either Jorhat airport OR to Dibrugarh airport as per your onward program.
