India is a fascinating country of rich architectural beauty, culture, traditions and historical past. Being ornamented with historical monuments, it has a majestic past of the various kingdoms & dynasties that existed in India. In each destination of India, travelers can come across a museum that displays the magnificent past of the region. Your journey begins with one of the largest museums in India ; the National Museum has a wide range of collections – arms & armour, jewellery, Pre-Columbian & western art, as well as, paintings & manuscripts. You’ll also visit the City Palace museum in Jaipur ; the oldest museum in Rajasthan, which used to be the seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur, the head of the Kachwaha Rajput clan. The Chandra Mahal palace now houses a museum, but the greatest part of it is still a royal residence that we’ll be visiting. Other gems you’ll be visiting include, the Taj Mahal museum in Agra, the Mathura museum & the Victoria Memorial in Kolkata. Allow us to take you through the rich history of India, from the valor of the kings, to the struggles during Independence; we walk down memory lane to immerse ourselves in the past & roots of the subcontinent.

  1. Day 1 Delhi

    On arrival our representative will welcome you at the airport for transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

  2. Day 2 Delhi

    After breakfast, you will be transferred to National Museum. Blueprint for establishing this museum was prepared by the Maurice Gwyer Committee in May 1946 and was inaugurated on August 15, 1949 The Museum presently holds approximately 2,00,000 objects of a diverse nature, both Indian as well as foreign covering a time span of more than five thousand years of Indian culture heritage.

    Afternoon you will visit Gandhi Smirti , a museum dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, situated on Tees January Road, in Delhi, the house where Gandhi spent his last 144 days. The exhibits include rooms preserved just as Gandhi left them, a detailed account of his life and last 24 hours, and vivid miniature dioramas depicting scenes from his life. Afterwards you will visit National Rail Museum having the largest collection of Indian Railway’s real life size exhibits and other rail. Overnight at hotel..

  3. Day 3 Delhi - Jaipur (265 Km / 6 hrs)

    After breakfast, you will drive to Jaipur and on arrival transferred to your hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

  4. Day 4 Jaipur

    After breakfast, you will drive to City Palace Museum to view unique collection of the dresses, ornaments, paintings, weapons of Kachwaha rulers. This museum is divided in three parts as Textile Museum, Arms Museum and Arts Museum. Afterwards you will visit Albert Hall Museum which is the oldest museum in the state of Rajasthan and named after King Edward VII (Albert Edward), during whose visit to the city then as the Prince of Wales, its foundation stone was laid on 6 February 1876. The building itself is integral part of display of Indo-Saracenic architecture and stone ornamentation.. Evening at leisure and overnight at hotel.

  5. Day 5 Jaipur - Agra (240 Km / 06 hrs)

    Breakfast at hotel and then start you drive for Agra. Arrive Agra and transfer to hotel. After rest, visit Taj Mahal, world renowned Monument of Love, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Taj was built by Shah Jahan, one of the most popular Mughal emperors. After Taj Mahal you will be taken to Agra Fort from where you can also view Taj Mahal. Overnight at hotel.

  6. Day 6 Agra- Mathura-Delhi (233 Kms)

    Breakfast at hotel and drive to Mathura around 50 kms to visit Mathura Museum famous for ancient sculptures of the Mathura school dating from 3rd century BC to 12th century AD., showcasing and Gupta and Kushan empire. Late afternoon start your journey to Delhi reaching in the late evening. Overnight at hotel.

  7. Day 7 Delhi- Varanasi (by flight)

    After breakfast you will be transfered to airport to board flight to Varanasi where you will greeting by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Evening leave for boat ride to experience the sacred Aarti ceremony at the Varanasi Ghats on Ganges river. Return to hotel for an overnight stay.

  8. Day 8 Varanasi - Kolkata

    After breakfast drive to Sarnath ( 20 Kms) to visit Archaeological Museum Sarnath which is the oldest site museum of Archaeological Survey of India . It was due initiative of Sir John Marshall, the then Director General of Archaeology Survey of India, that this museum was established. There are five galleries & two verandahs in the museum displaying the antiquities ranging in time from third century B.C. to twelfth century A.D..

    Late afternoon transfer to the airport to board the flight to Kolkata. Arrive Kolkata and transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.

  9. Day 9 Kolkata

    After breakfast, you will go for sightseeing of city visiting Victoria Memorial built between 1906 and 1921 in memory of Queen Victoria which at present is a museum having 25 galleries. The museum has largest collection of the work of Thomas Daniell and William Daniell. You will be transferred to Tagore House, family mansion of Rabindranath Tagore, one of India’s greatest modern poets. You will see gallery of paintings by his family and exhibition of literary. Overnight at hotel.

  10. Day 10 Depart Kolkata

    Our representative will meet you and assist you to In’l airport to catch your flight for onwards journey.
