All about the Kathmandu Pokhara and Chitwan.

Location: Kathmandu – Pokhara – Chitwan – Kathmandu

On this journey, you will visit the Boudnath stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in Nepal. Moving forward from your spiritual journey, we head towards Patan; which offers a profusion of ancient places and heritages preserved in its original shape. Walk through the narrow lanes of Patan to see the intricate metal work, traditional Newari houses & their lifestyle!

You will continue to Pokhara, also known as Lake City. Pokhara is a nature lover’s paradise; with tranquil Phewa Lake, reflecting Annapurna and Fishtail ranges. Then, escape to Sarangkot early morning, to witness the sunrise over Mount Annapurna, Fishtail and Dhaulagiri range. Spend two overnights at Chitwan. Chitwan houses Nepal’s first National Park famous for one-horned Rhinoceros. Spot tigers or rhinos on your elephant safari, get up close & personal with crocodiles on your canoe ride; Chitwan will cater to the wildlife enthusiast in you.

  1. Day 1 Arrive in Kathmandu

    Arrival, after immigration and customs formalities, meeting and escort at the Kathmandu airport by a representative of Minar Travels and transfer to the hotel

    After settling in, we visit the Boudhanath stupa, one of the biggest in the world of its kind and one of the most imposing landmarks in Kathmandu. It stands with four pairs of eyes in the four cardinal direction keeping watch for righteous behavior and human prosperity. The shrine is ringed by houses of Lamas or Buddhist priests. This is also the center of Tibetan Buddhism.

  2. Day 2 Kathmandu

    Morning proceed for sightseeing visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square, listed as one of the eight Cultural World Heritage Site by UNESCO, Kathmandu Durbar Square is cluster of ancient temples, palaces, courtyards and streets that date back to the 12th and 18th centuries. The visit of Durbar Square includes the Temple of Living Goddesses, who acknowledges the greetings of the devotees from the balcony of her temple residence. Continue visiting Swayambhunath, located approximately 4 km west of Kathmandu, Buddhist stupa this is said to be 2500 years old,

    Afternoon visit Patan city, also known as Lalitpur is the city of fine arts, enclosed withing 4 stupas said to be built in 3rd century AD, by Emperor Ashoka. The city retains much of the old charm with its narrow streets, brick houses and multitude of well-preserved Hindu temples, Buddhist monasteries (vihars) and monuments. Here you will visit the Shikahara style Krishna Temple built by King Siddhi Narshing Malla, Hiranya Varna Mahavihar – dating from the 12th century, the three-storied shrine, also known as the Golden Temple.

  3. Day 3 Kathmandu - Pokhara (210 Km / 05 hrs)

    Morning drive to Pokhara en-route stop at Bandipur, a small hilltop settlement with preserved Newari architecture, rich culture, and peaceful atmosphere and beautiful views of the Himalayas. Also vehicles are not allowed in this area and usually parked outside the town.

    Later continue drive to Pokhara and on arrival check-in at hotel. Pokhara will tick all the right boxes in your bucket list, with spectacular scenery as well as adventure activities. Pokhara’s ideal position close to the lake & the mountains, makes it a perfect place to relax & unwind.

  4. Day 4 Pokhara

    Early morning we hike up Saragkot towards the mountain top to watch the sunrise over the Annapurna Range, an experience we don’t recommend you miss!

    Return back to hotel for breakfast

    Later sightseeing visiting Davis Falls, where you can try your luck by throwing a coin on the statue of God.

    Later walk around the old bazaars, scrolling past colorful shops and soaking in the city.

    Late afternoon enjoy boatride on Lake Fewa, the travelers focal point in Pokhara with it’s surrounding mountains & pristine water.

  5. Day 5 Pokhara - Chitwan (200 km/05 hours)

    Morning drive to Chitwan

    After breakfast at the hotel, we move towards Chitwan.

    Chitwan National Park is spread across lush hills covered in forests and houses a wealth of fauna and flora. Chitwan is also known for world famous one-horned Rhinoceros and also hosts more than 815 kinds of birds, alongside tigers, crocodiles and other wildlife

    After arriving in the city, we transfer to the hotel

  6. Day 6 Chitwan

    Early morning take Elephant safari to the national park to see the wildlife.

    Return back to hotel for breakfast

    Later we explore Chitwan. You have the options of various activities in the National Park such as hiking and canoeing. If cultural fantasies are more your cup of tea, we recommend visiting the Tharu village & museum. For centuries, the Tharu have lived very closed to this protected area and hence their tradition reflects their intimate relationship with the natural world.

  7. Day 7 Chitwan - Kathmandu (240 kms/ 06 hours)
