Location: Delhi – Ranthambore – Bharatpur – Agra – Khajuraho – Bandhavgarh – Kanha – Pench – Nagpur – Mumbai

India is home to a rich and diverse array of wildlife, owing to its varied geography, climate, and ecosystems and boasts a large number of national parks and wildlife sanctuaries. In this program, we will cover some of the best national parks located in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, which shelters numerous species of animals, birds, and plants. Iconic animals like the Bengal tigers, leopards, hyenas, several species of deer, nilgai, cats, bats, foxes, toads, frogs, crocodiles, lizards, sloth bears, blackbucks, owls and venomous snakes. We will also visit one of the major bird sanctuaries located in Rajasthan “keoladeo bird sanctuary”

Also experience distinct terrain that in influence the ecology and wildlife visibility with Ranthambore having plateaus and meadows. Bandhavgarh is compact and rugged features a hilly landscape dominated by the Vindhya ranges, with steep cliffs, rocky outcrops, and forested valleys. Kanha has a more undulating plateau terrain with large open grasslands, gently rolling hills, and dense sal and bamboo forests and Pench has lower elevation and a drier, more open forest terrain characterized by gentle slopes, small hills, and seasonal streams, dominated by teak and dry deciduous vegetation

  1. Day 1 Arrive Delhi

    Arrival, immigration and customs formalities, meeting and escort at the Delhi airport by a representative of Minar Travels and transfer to the hotel after the meet & greet at the airport and transfer to hotel

  2. Day 2 Delhi-Ranthambore (By Train Jan Shatabdi Express)

    Morning drive past India Gate and the President’s Palace and later in time transfer to railway station to board train to Ranthambore (Sawai Madhopur station)

    On arrival in Ranthambore, assistance at the railway station and transfer to hotel

  3. Day 3 Ranthambore

    Early morning Jungle safari to Ranthambore national park by open Indian Jeeps OR Open Minivans (on sharing basis). once served as the hunting grounds of the royal family of Jaipur, now is one of the largest, popular and most visited National parks in India. Ranthambore is known for its large tiger population and in addition one might also encounter other wildlife such as leopards, Sloth Bears, hyenas, wild cats, Sambar Deer, Chital, Nilgai, Langur, Monkeys, reptiles, and a large variety of birds however tiger sighting is by pure chance and never guaranteed.

    Afternoon take another safari to Ranthambore national park to try your luck and click some beautiful pictures of wildlife.

  4. Day 4 Ranthambore-Agra (260kms / 5-6 hours drive)

    Breakfast and morning depart early for Agra en-route visiting Keoladeo National Park (Bird Sanctuary), which was originally the royal hunting grounds for royal families and British officers during British Raj. Now a protected bird sanctuary, clients will have the opportunity to view various species of Cranes, Geese, Pelicans, Ducks, Hawks, Eagles, Shanks, Stints, Warblers, Wagtails, Wheatears, Pipits, Larks, Flycatchers, Buntings etc.

    Later continue drive to Agra and on arrival check-in at hotel

    Late afternoon visit Taj Mahal (closed on Friday’s): One of the seven wonders of the world, the legendary architectural monument built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his sixteenth wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Located on the right bank of Yamuna River, a UNESCO World Heritage. Taj Mahal represents the finest architectural and artistic achievement through perfect harmony and excellent craftsmanship in a whole range of Indo-Islamic sepulchral architecture.

  5. Day 5 Agra-Khajuraho (By Train Vande Bharat Express)

    Early morning transfer to railway station to board train to Khajuraho

    On arrival in Khajuraho, assistance the railway station and transfer to hotel

    Afternoon half day sightseeing of Eastern and western group of temple complex dating to 10th century, a UNESCO world heritage site. The tour concentrates on the famous erotic temples, which represent some of the finest examples of temple architecture in Northern India. The remote location of Khajuraho meant that the temples were unharmed by Muslim invaders and as a result, the intricately fine carvings are in very good condition and are said to represent life in heaven.

  7. Day 7 Bandhavgarh

    Early morning Jeep safari to Bandhavgarh National Park, one of the popular wildlife reserves for its high density of Royal Bengal tigers. Spread over approximately 450 square kilometres. Once the hunting ground of the Maharajas of Rewa, Bandhavgarh has now become a vital conservation area the park is home to tigers, leopards, deer, wild boars, and a variety of birds and reptiles. At its heart lies the ancient Bandhavgarh Fort, which adds a historical and cultural dimension to the natural beauty of the park.

  9. Day 9 Kanha

    Early morning Jeep safari to Kanha National Park, Spread across the Maikal range of the Satpura hills, it covers a lush area of over 940 square kilometres. The park is famed for its significant population of Bengal tigers, swamp deer, leopards, sloth bears, and a wide variety of bird species. With its dense sal and bamboo forests, rolling meadows, and clear streams, Kanha inspired Rudyard Kipling’s famous novel The Jungle Book.

  10. Day 10 Kanha-Pench (200 Kms / 4 hour drive)

    Morning depart Kanha for Pench and on arrival check-in at hotel

    Afternoon Jeep safari to Pench National Park, a scenic and ecologically rich wildlife sanctuary named after the Pench River that flows through its heart. Covering an area of over 750 square kilometres, the park is characterized by its teak forests, open grasslands, and gently rolling hills. The park is celebrated for its successful wildlife conservation efforts and offers an immersive jungle experience through guided safaris, where visitors can witness the raw beauty and diverse fauna of central India.

  11. Day 11 Pench-Nagpur airport (120 kms, 2-3 hours drive) Nagpur-Mumbai by flight

  12. Day 12 Mumbai

    Morning excursion to Elephanta Caves (World Heritage site) – A collection of cave temples predominantly dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva, which have been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located on a small island, located 10 kms east of Mumbai. The small island is dotted with numerous ancient archaeological remains that are the sole testimonies to its rich cultural past. An Approximate one-hour ferry ride (each way), will take you to this island temples.

    Afternoon half day sightseeing of Mumbai city visiting Gateway of India an arch-monument completed in 1924 on the waterfront of Mumbai. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum also as the Princess of Whales museum, Is one of the main museum of Mumbai city and has a collection of 70,000 historic and artistic works of various materials and techniques. The Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus: (World Heritage site) is an outstanding example of Victorian Gothic Revival architecture in India, blended with themes deriving from Indian traditional architecture. Mani Bhawan Museum, Mahatma Gandhi’s Mumbai headquarters for about 17 years, from 1917 to 1934. The mansion belonged to Revashankar Jagjeevan Jhaveri, Gandhi’s friend and host in Mumbai. It was from Mani Bhavan that Gandhi initiated the Non-Cooperation, Satyagraha, Swadeshi, Khadi and Khilafat Movements.
