  1. Day 1 Arrive Delhi or Kolkata

    After landing in Indian city of New Delhi or Kolkata, you will be transferred to your hotel for overnight rest.

  2. Day 2 Kolkata or Delhi – Guwahati (by Flight)- Shillong (120 kms / 3 hours)

    In the morning, you will transfer to the airport to board a flight to Guwahati. You will be received at Guwahati airport by our team member and will drive to Shillong, soaking in the scenic landscapes. Check in at the hotel and rest overnight.

  3. Day 3 Shillong-Cherrapunjee - Shillong (56 kms / 2 hours)

    After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee, laid out along razor-like ridges of a high mountain wall, Cherrapunjee (known locally as Sohra) sits at the edge of the Himalayas, overlooking the pancake-flat plains of Bangladesh. Also visit Thangkharang Park (from where one can see the plains of Bangladesh), Mawsmai cave and Nohkalikai fall. Overnight at hotel.

  4. Day 4 Shillong - Tezpur (240 kms / 5 hours)

    Morning drive to Tezpur in Assam, a charming town with some beautifully kept parks, attractive lakes and enchanting views of the mighty Brahmaputra River as it laps the town’s edge.

    Afternoon walk around the local market. Overnight at hotel.

  5. Day 5 Tezpur - Ziro (270 kms / 7 hours)

    After breakfast, drive to Ziro, located in an extremely picturesque valley called Apatani Plateau, surrounded by pine-covered mountains and home to Apatani tribes. Apatani tribes themselves are Ziro’s greatest attraction. Overnight at hotel.

  6. Day 6 Ziro

    Full day in Ziro – visiting Apatani tribal villages, interacting with them and experiencing their lifestyle.

  7. Day 7 Ziro - Majuli (162 kms / 6 hours)

    After breakfast drive to Majuli – Beached amid the mighty Brahmaputra River’s ever-shifting puzzle of ochre sandbanks. Majuli, at around 450 sq km, is India’s largest river island. There are villages of Mishing tribe, monasteries of Neo-Vaishnavism, practicing art and craft etc. Overnight at hotel

  8. Day 8 Majuli

    Full day at Majuli. Viewing potters’ village, engaging in mask making, seeing Vaishnavite monastery and visiting Mishing – a tribal village. Overnight at hotel.

  9. Day 9 Majuli - Mon (180 kms / 6 hours)

    After an early breakfast, drive to a ferry point to cross river Brahmaputra by motorized country boat to Mon, a district in the state of Nagaland. This journey will take you around 2 hours. Mon is the land of the captivating Konyak Nagas, whose culture and traditions are an attraction by themselves for the visitors. Overnight at hotel.

  10. Day 10 Mon

    Full day visit at Longwa – one of the biggest villages in Mon district and an intersecting sight to behold, since it straddles the international boundary line between India and Myanmar. Overnight at hotel.

  11. Day 11 Mon

    Morning visit Hongphui village – to experience how the locals live without the modernization we are all too familiar with today. In the afternoon, you are free to spend time in the market area for local products. Overnight at hotel.

  12. Day 12 Mon - Jorhat (165 kms / 5½ hours)

    After breakfast, drive to Jorhat en route visiting Sivadol, a 1734 AD temple dedicated to lord Shiva. The height of the Sivadol (dol means temple in Assamese) is 104 feet (32 m)!

  13. Day 13 Jorhat - Kohima (244 kms / 6 hours)

    Morning drive to Kohima, the capital city of Nagaland, situated at an elevation of about 1400 meters. Kohima is home to Angami tribe. Here, the Japanese advance was finally stopped during WWII.

  14. Day 14 Kohima

    After breakfast, visit Khonoma village, the first Green village,famous for its forests and a unique form of agriculture, including some of the oldest terraced cultivation in the region. Overnight at hotel.

  15. Day 15 Kohima - Imphal (140 kms / 5 hours)

    After breakfast, drive to Imphal, the capital city of Manipur and a vibrant mix of cultures and customs. Late afternoon, visit Kangla fort which was opened to visitors only in the year 2004. This fort was the ancient capital of Manipur .Overnight at hotel.

  16. Day 16 Imphal

    Morning, go for a day trip to Andro Cultural Village. Visit the Cultural Heritage Complex. Here the practice of fire worshipping is still continued in the temple of Panam Ningthou.

  17. Day 17 Imphal - Guwahati (140 kms / 5 hours)

    In the morning, you will start driving towards Guwahati. On arrival, check in to hotel and after some rest visit the famous Shakti Pith Kamakhya temple, also known as Kamrup Kamakhya; a Hindu temple which built in 8th century. Overnight at hotel

  18. Day 18 Guwahati - Delhi or Kolkata (By Flight)

    After breakfast, transfer to Guwahati airport to board a flight for your onward journey from the airport of your choice.
