Enjoy game of golf at some of the most scenic golf courses, Royal Springs Golf Course, nestled at the foothills of the Zabarwan Mountains in Srinagar, Kashmir, is one of India’s most picturesque and prestigious golf destinations. Designed by the renowned Robert Trent Jones Jr and also at Gulmarg Golf Club, perched at an exhilarating 2,650 meters (8,690 ft) above sea level, is one of the world’s highest and most breathtaking 18hole courses, originally established in the late 19th century by Colonel Neville Chamberlain and later redesigned by golf legends Peter Thomson and Ranjit Nanda

  1. Day 1 Arrive in Delhi

    Arrival, immigration and customs formalities, meeting and escort at the Delhi airport by a representative of Minar Travels and transfer to the hotel after the meet & greet at the airport and transfer to hotel.

  2. Day 2 Delhi

    Morning drive to Qutub Golf Course, an 18 hole course. The easy layouts and the wide fairways will motivate you to play with élan. Afternoon explore New Delhi visiting Qutab Minar, an architectural brilliance which was built around 1500 A.D by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek – a slave turned monarch and Humayun’s tomb the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent. We’ll also drive through India Gate, see the Parliament House, President’s House and the Government Secretariat Buildings.

  3. Day 3 Delhi-Srinagar by flight

    In time transfer to airport to board flight to Srinagar

    On arrival in Srinagar, assistance at the airport and transfer to hotel

    Srinagar, situated at an altitude of 1, 730 m. In the heart of the Kashmir valley, spreads out on both sides of the Jhelum River. The valley’s beauty has enticed visitors from distant lands. Srinagar bears the hallmark of the Mughal, dry fruits and the traditional Kashmiri handicrafts are the other major attractions. If there is a heaven on earth, it’s here, it’s here, and it’s here in Srinagar.

    Afternoon drive to Royal Springs Golf Course to enjoy a game of Golf, nestled at the foothills of the Zabarwan Mountains in Srinagar, it is one of India’s most picturesque and prestigious golf course. Designed by the renowned Robert Trent Jones Jr., the 18-hole championship course offers a world-class golfing experience amid lush landscapes, pine forests, and panoramic views of the Dal Lake.

    In the evening enjoy your Shikara ride on Dal Lake for approx one hour.

  4. Day 4 Srinagar-Sonamarg-Srinagar (87 kms / 2 hours, 30 minute drive one way)

    Morning full day Excursion to Sonamarg (2740 mts) also known as ‘The Meadow of Gold’ or “The Gateway of Ladakh’ Sonamarg is 87 Kms from Srinagar and is surrounded by colorful mountains and thick Pine forests. Once reaching at Sonamarg our vehicle will stop at Parking area from there the Local vehicle for local sightseeing.

    In Sonamarg the Thajiwas Glacier is 3 kms in the south of Sonamarg main attraction. Slopes and meadows are sparkled with the loveliest of alpine flowers, while the rich forests of fir, sycamore and birch at their lush green beauty to the scene. Along with the Pahalgam, Sonamarg is an excellent takeoff point for treks into the mountains and in itself is an ideal camping ground where glaciers pour down from the Himalayas. Sonamarg is also the entry point for the famous Amarnath Cave, a holy site for Hindus via Baltal Valley.

    In the evening drive back to Srinagar.

  5. Day 5 Srinagar– Gulmarg (Approx 55 kms, 2 hours drive)

    Morning drive from Srinagar to Gulmarg. Gulmarg (8700 ft i.e. 2652 mts), known as ‘Meadow of flowers. Discovered by the Kashmiri romantic poet in the 16th century who was inspired with its grassy slopes covered with wild flowers. It is one of the India’s premier Hill resorts. Gulmarg today is not merely a mountain resort of exceptional beauty – It also turns into India’s premier Ski resort in winter.

    The Gondola Cable Car offers rides to the upland meadows of Kongdori and beyond to the top of Apharwat range to a height of 14000 ft for viewing the Himalayan Peaks in summer and for downhill skiing in winter.

    After Check-in you will enjoy cable car phase I (to be pre-booked, subject to availability)

  6. Day 6 Gulmarg-Srinagar (Approx 55 kms, 2 hours drive)

    Morning drive to Gulmarg Golf Club to enjoy a game of golf, perched at an exhilarating 2,650 meters above sea level, it is one of the world’s highest and most breathtaking 18hole courses, originally established in the late 19 th century by Colonel Neville Chamberlain and later redesigned by golf legends Peter Thomson and Ranjit Nanda Spanning approximately, it boasts India’s longest hole, a daunting 610yard par 58 th and showcases undulating fairways, strategic bunkers, and fast greens set against the majestic Pir Panjal peaks.

    Later depart Gulmarg for Srinagar and on arrival direct transfer to airport to board flight for your onward
    journey
