Morning proceed for Full day sightseeing of Delhi. Start your day by visiting Old part of the city drive past Red Fort, Later visit Jama Masjid, a red sandstone structure is one of the large mosque’s in India and can hold 25000 people during Friday prayers. Stroll through the narrow lanes of Old Delhi one of the oldest markets in Delhi. Later visit Raj Ghat memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, also known as father of the nation.

Continue with sightseeing of New Delhi, drive past the central avenue of the city with state buildings the Sansad Bhawan (Parliament  ouse) and Rashtrapati Bhawan (Presidential Palace), which at one time  erved as the Royal Residence of the British Viceroys who ruled India. Later take a short photo stop at India Gate, Visit the Qutab Minar (73 m high minaret, the diameter of the base of which is 15 m and 2.5 m at the top).

visit Bangla Sahib Gurudwara: a prominent house of worship for the Sikh community. This 17th-century shrine is dedicated to the memory of Guru Har Krishan, who was the eighth Sikh Guru. It has stunning golden dome and beautiful architecture. People from all religion are welcome to enter the temple and learn about Sikhism. They also serve langar (free food) from the community kitchen and everyone is  elcome to help as per their choice in the kitchen or other chores at the Gurudwara.

Arrive Guwahati by air. On your arrival meet your guide at the airport and head towards Guwahati. After refreshment at the hotel, we shall visit one of the most important Hindu pilgrim Site and a major religious landmark of the city – Kamakhya Temple build in reverence of Goddess Kamakhya or Sati one of the various incarnations of Goddess Durga or Goddess Shakti.

Go for a sunset river cruise on the mighty Brahmaputra River (river cruise is subjected to river conditions and availability).

After breakfast, head out to explore Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, often called the & ”Scotland of the East ” due to its rolling hills and scenic beauty. Start with a visit to the Mawphlang Sacred Forest, a place of great cultural and religious significance for the Khasi people. The forest is believed to be protected by a local deity, Labasa, and is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna. The sacred groves are a living repository of Khasi culture, where no tree is cut and nothing is removed from the forest.

Next, visit Elephant Falls, a three-tiered waterfall named by the British for its resemblance to an elephant. The falls are easily accessible and offer a beautiful setting for photography and relaxation. Then, head to Laitlum Canyons, a less-explored destination in the East Khasi Hills offering stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The word ”Laitlum” translates to”end of hills,” and the panoramic views from here are truly mesmerizing.

The bridges are a marvel of bioengineering and provide a picturesque and unique trekking experience. Another notable attraction is the Sky View Point, a bamboo structure offering a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape, including the Bangladesh plains. Constructed by the villagers, the viewpoint showcases their skill and provides a stunning perspective on the region & topography.

A natural wonder, the Balancing Rock consists of a large boulder resting on a much smaller rock. This intriguing formation has stood the test of time and is a popular spot for tourists Interested in geology and natural phenomena.

Mawllynong village itself is a tourist attraction, renowned for its cleanliness. Visitors can stroll through the neat, flower-lined pathways, interact with the friendly locals, and learn about the community’s waste management and eco-friendly practices that have made Mawlynnong an inspiration for sustainable living.

Later visit Dawki, the Bangladesh Border (Tamabil Border from Bangladesh side). Main attraction is the Umgot river with crystal clear water. You can enjoy along boat ride there (boating is subjected to river conditions) – This boating is on wooden boat with Oar men and seating arrangements is on wooden planks (maximum 03 pax allowed per boat). Life jackets are available and shall ask the driver to assist on the same. Road in Dawki is under renovation and potholes or broken patches can be expected.

Morning depart for Kaziranga National Park – an UNESCO World heritage site and the home of the World Famed One Horned Rhino. Early-morning we will explore the park on Elephant back – Elephant ride is the best way to behold the vigour and charm of the enchanting wildlife of the park.

Mid-morning visit Kaziranga Orchid Center.

Post lunch we will go for a jeep safari in the western range of the park – stop a watch tower looking for birds and mammals.
