    North East India is a region of remarkable diversity, natural beauty, and cultural richness. It is geographically distinct from the rest of India, connected by a narrow stretch of land known as the Siliguri Corridor. The region is characterized by lush green hills, dense forests, snow-capped mountains, and mighty rivers like the Brahmaputra. It is one of the most biodiverse areas in the country, home to rare wildlife species and protected areas such as Kaziranga National Park.

    Culturally, North East India is incredibly vibrant, with over 200 ethnic groups and tribes, each having its own language, traditions, music, dance, and festivals. The people of this region are known for their warmth and hospitality.

    1. Day 1 Arrive Delhi

      Arrival in Delhi, meeting and assistance upon arrival with traditional welcome as representatives from Minar Travels welcome you and escort you to your car. As the room keys and check in are organized, our executive would introduce the tour to you and hand over the documents to you.

    2. Day 2 Delhi

      Morning proceed for Full day sightseeing of Delhi. Start your day by visiting Old part of the city drive past Red Fort, Later visit Jama Masjid, a red sandstone structure is one of the large mosque’s in India and can hold 25000 people during Friday prayers. Stroll through the narrow lanes of Old Delhi one of the oldest markets in Delhi. Later visit Raj Ghat memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, also known as father of the nation.

      Continue with sightseeing of New Delhi, drive past the central avenue of the city with state buildings the Sansad Bhawan (Parliament House) and Rashtrapati Bhawan (Presidential Palace), which at one time served as the Royal Residence of the British Viceroys who ruled India. Later take a short photo stop at India Gate, Visit Humayun’s Tomb, and the Qutab Minar (73 m high minaret, the diameter of the base of which is 15 m and 2.5 m at the top).

      Time permitting visit Bangla Sahib Gurudwara: a prominent house of worship for the Sikh community. This 17th-century shrine is dedicated to the memory of Guru Har Krishan, who was the eighth Sikh Guru. It has stunning golden dome and beautiful architecture. People from all religion are welcome to enter the temple and learn about Sikhism. They also serve langar (free food) from the community kitchen and everyone is welcome to help as per their choice in the kitchen or other chores at the Gurudwara

    3. Day 3 Delhi-Guwahati (by flight) Guwahati- Shillong (100 Kms / 3 hour drive) Breakfast at hotel

      In time transfer to airport to board flight to Guwahati.

      On arrival Guwahati assistance at the airport and direct drive to Shillong en-route enjoy the Ariel view of the Umiam Lake.  On arrival in Shillong check-in at hotel

      Late afternoon visit Cathedral Church and Don Bosco Museum where you can get a glimpse of culture and lifestyle of the indigenous people of Northeast.

      Later time permitting enjoy street shopping

    4. Day 4 Shillong-Dawki-Mawlynnong-Shillong (185 kms / 8 hour round trip)

      Breakfast at hotel.

      Morning drive to Dawki, a small town in West Jaintia Hills District of Meghalaya, here enjoy boat ride on Tamabil River, shared by India and Bangladesh. Also visit the Indo Bangladesh border. Later drive to Mawlynnong and visit Asia’s cleanest village, enjoy a short trek to reach the Single Decker Root Bridge.

      Later drive back to Shillong and overnight stay at the hotel.

    5. Day 5 Shillong-Bhalukpong (300 kms / 7 hour drive)

      Morning depart Shillong to Bhalukpong with short en-route visits

    6. Day 6 Bhalukpong-Dirang (135 kms, 4 hour drive)

      Morning depart Bhalukpong for Dirang and on arrival check-in at hotel

      Afternoon visit the Kalchakra Gompa, a beautiful little 500 years old monastery with mosaic work. Later visit Kiwi Gardens and spend sometime in Dirang Village.

    7. Day 7 Dirang- Tawang (145 kms, 4 hour drive)

      Morning drive to Tawang en-route visiting the Yak Breeding centre. Pass through the Sela Pass which is 13700 ft above sea level and visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial, built in honor and bravery of late rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat, where he single handedly fought against the Chinese army for 72 hours. Also take a brief stop at Nuranang Water Falls.

      On arrival in Tawang check-in at hotel

    8. Day 8 Tawang

      Morning visit Tawang Monastery (Garden Namgyel Lhatse) and Urgelling Monastery. Later visit Tawang Crafts Center and later in the evening visit Tawang War Memorial where you can enjoy the light and sound show.

    9. Day 9 Tawang

      Morning visit PTSO Lake, Bumla Pass (Indo-China Border, special permit required to visit) and Sangetsar Lake

    10. Day 10 Tawang- Bomdila (175 kms / 5 hour drive)

      Morning depart Tawang for Bomdila and on arrival check-in at hotel.

      Later visit Bomdila Monastery, established in the year 1965 it represents the spiritual essence of Buddhism and the monastery resembles Tsona Gontse Monastery of South Tibet.

    11. Day 11 Bomdila-Kaziranga (185 kms / 5 hour drive) Breakfast at hotel

      Morning depart Bomdila for Kaziranga an UNESCO World heritage site and the home of the World Famed One Horned Rhino. Spread across 430 square kilometer area sprinkled with elephant-grass meadows, swampy lagoons, and dense forests is home to more than 2200 Indian one-horned rhinoceros

      On arrival in Kaziranga check-in at hotel.

      Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

    12. Day 12 Kaziranga National Park

      Early-morning we will explore the park on Elephant back – Elephant ride is the best way to behold the vigour and charm of the enchanting wildlife of the park.

      Mid-morning visit Kaziranga Orchid Center.

      Post lunch we will go for a jeep safari in the western range of the park – stop a watch tower looking for birds and mammals.

    13. Day13 Kaziranga-Guwahati (170 kms / 4 hour drive)

      Morning depart Kaziranga for Guwahati and on arrival check-in at hotel.

      Afternoon visit Basistha Temple and Kalashetra Temple, where Assamese culture and lifestyle is preserved. central museum, an art gallery and a traditional Vaishnava temple are some of the major attractions.

    14. Day14 Guwahati -Delhi by flight

      Morning visit Kamakhya Temple. Later in time transfer to airport to board flight to Delhi for your onward journey
