Navratri, meaning ‘nine nights’, is one of the most popular and widely celebrated Hindu festivals in many parts of India. During Navratri, Gujarat erupts into a nine-night dance festival, perhaps the longest in the world! Each night, all over the state, villages and cities alike, people gather in open spaces to celebrate feminine divinity, referred to as Shakti. You’ll get the chance to learn Gujarat’s folk dance, be a part of the festivities in local attire, experience mouth-watering food & yoga sessions!

  1. Day 1 October

    Arrival in Ahmedabad, meeting and assistance upon arrival with traditional welcome as representatives from Minar Travels welcome you and escort you to your car. As the room keys and check in are organized, our executive would introduce the tour to you and hand over the documents to you. Meanwhile costumier will be in your hotel for the measurement to arrange traditional attire for you and in the evening we have free time for shopping. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Ahmedabad.

  2. Day 2 October

    Optional: Early morning at 5:00 AM we have arranged special Yoga session for 45 minutes to rejuvenate and have a fresh start for the day

    After freshen up and breakfast, we shall depart for Guided Heritage Walk of Ahmedabad where we will be passing through narrow lanes of Old Ahmedabad city, and we will be able to see Ahmedabadi style of architecture, Culture of Ahmedabad, Some of the 400 years old Jain and Hindu temples and Jamma Mosque. You will be able to explore the exquisite features that make Ahmedabad the first world Heritage city of India. Return to hotel and after Lunch we will Start Garba & Raas (Local Gujarati Dance) practice from 2:00 PM TO 7:00 PM in the evening free time.  Dinner and overnight at hotel in Ahmedabad.

  3. Day 3 October

    Optional: Early morning at 5:00 AM we have arranged special Yoga session for 45 minutes to rejuvenate and have a fresh start for the day.

     

    After freshen up and breakfast we shall depart for Adalaj stepwell by three wheeled Autorickshaw to explore the narrow streets of Ahmedabad and across its bustling over bridges to discover the city’s rich history, architecture and hospitality. Return to Hotel, after lunch we will Start Garba & Raas (Local Gujarati Dance) practice from 2:00 PM TO 7:00 PM. Evening free at leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Ahmedabad.

  4. Day 4 October

    Optional: Early morning at 5:00 AM we have arranged special Yoga session for 45 minutes to rejuvenate and have a fresh start for the day

    After freshen up and breakfast, we shall depart for Patan city which is an ancient fortified town was found in 745 Patan is famous for Queen’s stepwell which was built as a memorial to an 11th-century king Bhimdev Solanki by his beloved wife Queen Udayamati and for Patola weaving technique. it is a form of dying art and is kept alive by few families who have been following the ancestral profession since many centuries. Later we can visit Modhera. Modhera is famous for an ancient Sun temple which was built after 1026-27 CE during the reign of Bhima I of the Chaulukya Dynasty. It is known for its elaborate carvings and architecture. Return to Ahmedabad by 5 PM. Meanwhile we will be ready with your traditional attires and accessories. We will have co-ordinators at your hotel that will assist you to wear the traditional clothes. After dinner by 8:30 PM we will go to the venue to enjoy the Garba and Raas with the local people. This event will make you feel one of the best memorable experiences of life where thousands of people are dancing together in traditional attires. Return to hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Ahmedabad.

  5. Day 5 October

    Optional: Early morning at 5:00 AM we have arranged special Yoga session for 45 minutes to rejuvenate and have a fresh start for the day

    After freshen up and breakfast, we shall experience the culinary tour, Local cuisine and the taste. This culinary program is an authentic and mouth-watering way to fast track your understanding of a city, country and culture by exploring and experiencing through this cuisine process. Take your taste buds on a culinary tour and experience all of the tantalizing flavors of the Gujarat. Here you’ll participate in behind the scenes cooking process Whether you’re exploring the local delicacies like Local Sweets, Gravy and Chutneys this experience will surely to tempt your taste buds. After dinner by 8:30 PM we will go to the different venue to perform the Garba and Raas with the local people. Return to hotel. Dinner and Overnight at hotel in Ahmedabad.

  6. Day 6 October

    Optional: Early morning at 5:00 AM we have arranged special Yoga session for 45 minutes to rejuvenate and have a fresh start for the day.

    After freshen up and breakfast, depart for Statue of Unity. Check in and after freshen up visit Sardar Sarovar Dam, Selfie point, then visit Statue of Unity, Gallery, and Flower of valley and in the evening visit Cultural activities. Dinner and Night at Statue of Unity.

  7. Day 7 October

    Early morning at 8:00 AM proceed to breakfast. After freshen and breakfast drop at Airport.
