All about the Kathmandu with Chitwan.

Immerse yourself with the rich culture and traditions of the Kathmandu valley. With 7 UNESCO heritage sites, Kathmandu promises to a sight for sore eyes & an experience not to be missed. On this journey, you will visit the Boudnath stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in Nepal, also called “Mini Tibet”. Moving forward from your spiritual journey, we head towards Patan; which offers a profusion of ancient places and heritages preserved in its original shape. Walk through the narrow lanes of Patan to see the intricate metal work, traditional Newari houses & their lifestyle!

You will continue to Pokhara, also known as Lake City. Pokhara is a nature lover’s paradise; with tranquil Phewa Lake, reflecting Annapurna and Fishtail ranges. Then, escape to Sarangkot early morning, to witness the sunrise over Mount Annapurna, Fishtail and Dhaulagiri range. Spend two overnights at Chitwan. Located 175 kms from Kathmandu, Chitwan houses Nepal’s first National Park. Spot tigers or rhinos on your elephant safari, get up close & personal with crocodiles on your canoe ride; Chitwan will cater to the wildlife enthusiast in you.

  1. Day 1 Arrive in Kathmandu

    On arrival, you will be welcomed by a member of our staff & transferred to your hotel. After settling in, we visit the Boudhnath stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world & a significant Buddhist pilgrimage site, truly a marvel to look at.

  2. Day 2 Kathmandu

    After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit Patan; A destination for connoisseurs of fine arts, it is filled with wood and stone carvings, metal statues, ornate architecture, including dozens of Buddhist and Hindu temples, and over 1200 monuments.

    We will visit the old city, the historic Durbar Square, Golden Gate, the Temple of Taleju, and the bazaars of the area. In the afternoon, we visit the Royal Palace Museum, so you can experience the historic relics, sculptures and trophies. We then proceed towards Hanuman Dhoka; a complex of structures with the Royal Palace of the Malla kings and also of the Shah dynasty in the Durbar Square as well as visiting the temple of Goddess Kumari.

  3. Day 3 Kathmandu - Pokhara (210 Km / 05 hrs)

    After breakfast, we drive to the city of Pokhara; a mirror to the Himalayas. Pokhara will tick all the right boxes in your bucket list, with spectacular scenery as well as adventure activities. Pokhara’s ideal position close to the lake & the mountains, makes it a perfect place to relax & unwind.

    After arrival, we transfer to the hotel and the rest of the day is at your leisure.

  4. Day 4 Pokhara

    Before breakfast, we hike up Saragkot towards the mountain top to watch the sunrise over the Annapurna Range, an experience we don’t recommend you miss! We return to the hotel for breakfast and proceed towards the city. We shall visit Davis Falls, where you can try your luck by throwing a coin on the statue of God. You can walk around the old bazaars, scrolling past colourful shops and soaking in the city. Your day ends with a boat ride on Lake Fewa, the travellers’ focal point in Pokhara with it’s surrounding mountains & pristine water.

  5. Day 5 Pokhara - Chitwan (200 km/05 hours)

    After breakfast at the hotel, we move towards Chitwan. The National Park, located southwest of Pokhara, is spread across lush hills covered in forests and houses a wealth of fauna and flora. Chitwan is known for hosting more than 815 kinds of birds, alongside tigers, rhinos & crocodiles. After arriving in the city, we transfer to the hotel. Enjoy an elephant safari to end your day.

  6. Day 6 Chitwan

    After breakfast at the hotel, we explore Chitwan. You have the options of various activities in the National Park such as hiking and canoeing. If cultural fantasies are more your cup of tea, we recommend visiting the Tharu village & museum. For centuries, the Tharu have lived very closed to this protected area and hence their tradition reflects their intimate relationship with the natural world.

  7. Day 7 Chitwan - Kathmandu (240 kms/ 06 hours)

    After breakfast, we move towards Kathmandu. The rest of the day is free at your leisure.

    After breakfast at the hotel, our representative will escort you to the airport for your onwards journey.
