CABG Redo is the secondary level of surgery, which is highly complicated and performed on patients who are suffering from noncardiac arteries and more sclerotic coronary. The CABG redo surgical procedure is highly complex since the re-entry of sternum is very much complicated and with this dissection of the heart should be done carefully. Redo CABG mortality rate is two to five times more than primary CABG.

CABG indications include dangerous LAD (left anterior artery) territory. Also, patients are often recommended CABG, suffering from low cardiac function and diseased vein grafts. Redo CABG uses off-pump technique which is considered beneficial in a more comorbid population and selected population.
