On arrival at Delhi airport, enjoy traditional Indian welcome and assistance by the representative of Minar Travels and transfer to your hotel in the comfort of well-chosen transport. Overnight at the hotel.
Proceed on full day sightseeing of New and Old Delhi visiting Laxmi Narayan Mandir (Hindu temple), Baba Baghel Singh Multimedia Sikh Museum located inside Gurudwara Bangla Sahib (Sikh temple) has been named after Baba Baghel Singh, a brave Sikh military general in the 18th Century, who played a significant role in defending Sikhism. He conquered the Red Fort in Delhi in 1783 AD and established seven historic Gurudwaras in Delhi. Through paintings, digital technology, screens, murals, projections and multi-language sound, the aim of the museum is to highlight the core principles of Sikhism.
Later drive through Old Delhi to see the gigantic Red Fort (a fortress palace built by the most popular Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib (one of the 9 historical Gurudwaras in Delhi to commemorate the martyrdom site of the 9th Sikh Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji) and enjoying the daily activities of the colourful markets riding in a rickshaw. Also visit Akshardham Temple (the largest Hindu temple complex in the world intricately carved with flora, fauna, dancers, musicians and deities, displaying millennia of traditional Hindu and Indian culture, spirituality and architecture), India Gate (War Memorial of 82,000 Indian soldiers who sacrificed their life in First World War). Drive past Sansad Bhavan (Indian Parliament), Rashtrapati Bhavan (formerly known as Viceroy’s House, presently the official home of President of India) and visit Qutub Minar (the tallest historical minaret of bricks in the world and regarded as one of the most ideal Persian towers).
Proceed to visit Taj Mahal – the most outstanding architectural monument of love in white marble and one of the Seven Wonders of the World built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Empress Mumtaz Mahal who died in childbirth of her 14th child. Also visit Agra Fort – another UNESCO World Heritage Site on banks of the river Yamuna in the heart of the city, where many of the events leading to the construction of the Taj Mahal occurred. The fort is located close to the Taj Mahal and one can be at a vantage position to see amazing views of the Taj Mahal. Return to Delhi for the overnight stay.
Arrive Chandigarh (reknowned as City Beautiful) and transfer to hotel. After short rest, proceed to visit Rock Garden (a unique garden that consists of various art objects with each of its artwork made by using industrial & urban waste), Sukhna Lake (a beautiful manmade lake) and Elante Mall or explore the famous local market of Sector 17 which is the biggest Shopping Centre of the city.

Proceed on full day sightseeing tour visiting Rose Garden (the largest rose garden in Asia, spread over 27 acres with more than 17,000 plants representing some 1,600 varieties of rose as well as several fountains), The Government Museum & Art Gallery (which is part of a series of three museums of Unlimited Growth designed by Le Corbusier, the other two being Sanskar Kendra, Ahmedabad and Museum of Western Art, Tokyo). It houses the collection of sculptures, miniature paintings, modern and contemporary art, textiles, decorative art, coins, manuscripts and pottery. Later visit Baba Banda Singh Bahadur War Memorial and Fateh Burj (meaning Victory Tower, the tallest minar in India located at the historical village of Chappar Chiri in SAS Nagar district). This 328 feet tower is dedicated to establishment of the Sikh Misls in a large part of India in 1711 AD and located inside this 20 acre memorial which commemorates the glorious victory over the Mughal forces in May, 1710 of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, one of the most respected Sikh warriors. Thereafter, proceed on an excursion to Pinjore, a part of Panchkula district of the state of Haryana and located at the confluence of river Jhajjar and Kaushalya (tributaries of Ghaggar) in the lower Shivalik mountain ranges. It is an ancient, religious and historical place and derives its name from Panchpura-the town of Pandavs. Visit Pinjore Gardens which are 50-acre Mughal Gardens, currently renamed the Yadavindra Gardens after Maharaja Yadavindra Singh, the last ruler of Patiala. Built in the 17th Century, on similar lines of the Nishant and Shalimar gardens of Kashmir, the Yadavindra Gardens are said to be the handiwork of architect Fidai Khan, Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb’s cousin and trusted lieutenant. Reknowned as Asia’s best historic Mughal Gardens and renovated by the Patiala Dynasty Jat Sikh Rulers, they boast of seven terraces, with the main gate of the garden opening into the highest first terrace, which has a Royal palace built in Rajasthani-Mughal style named Sheesh Mahal displaying an exquisite symmetry of design, and commands a majestic view of the Garden, right from the entrance to the boundary wall of the last terrace. It has a panoramic view of the garden, orchard and surrounding hills. Moonlight nights cast a magic spell.
Proceed on full-day excursion to Patiala and visit Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib which is one of the historical shrines of Sikhism dedicated to the 9th Sikh Guru – Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, and located what used to be the village of Lehal, now part of Patiala city. According to local tradition, supported by an old handwritten document preserved in the Gurudwara, one Bhag Ram, a jhivar of Lehal, waited upon this Guru during his sojourn at Saifabad (now Bahadurgarh) and made the request that he might be pleased to visit and bless his village so that its inhabitants could be rid of a serious and mysterious sickness which had been their bane for a long time. Visit Qila Mubarak Complex, a rare and outstanding example of Sikh Palace architecture in India, is currently the residential palace of the Royal family of Patiala. Built in 10-acre ground in the heart of the city, the whole complex contains Ran Baas (Guest house) and the Darbar Hall (Divan Khana) displaying different types/sizes of mirrors and beautiful paintings of Sikh rulers; besides Quila Androon having 13 royal chambers with scenes from Hindu mythology painted in the Patiala art style. There is also a museum of armoury & chandeliers with rare cannons, swords, shields and maces, daggers of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and the sword of Nadir Shah. Also visit Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirrors) built by Maharaja Narinder Singh in 1847 AD. Located in Old Moti Bagh, the palace is now a museum, art gallery, famed medal gallery with over 3200 medals and coins from all over the world from 12th to 20th century and a culture centre of the North Zone. Its biggest highlights are the paintings of Kangra and Rajasthani Qalam, placed in mirror chamber and the collection of these objects shows the life style of Maharajas. Enjoy lunch at the heritage hotel Baradari Palace and experience utter splendor and the unfading existence of the Maharajas of Punjab; visit Dharampura Bazar to experience Patiala’s famous ethnic Phulkari work followed by a short tour of National Institute of Sports (NIS) which is also Asia’s largest Sports Institute housed in the palatial monumental building and sprawling lawns built by the erstwhile Maharaja of Patiala whose descendants dedicated this complex for the promotion of sports to the people of India. This Institute is popularly known as the “Mecca” of Indian Sports and has produced Coaches of high caliber. Return to Chandigarh in late evening for overnight stay.
Arrive Anandpur Sahib (known as City of Bliss) and transfer to Anand at the Satluj, a unique premium farm-stay located at the banks of the river Sutlej, on the southern periphery of Sri Anandpur Sahib.
After a short rest, proceed to visit Gurudwara Sri Keshgarh Sahib (also known as Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib) which is one of the 5 Temporal Authorities of Sikhism, located in the center of the city of Anandpur Sahib and the city’s main Sikh shrine. The city began as Chakk Nanaki, which was founded by the 9th Sikh Guru – Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji in 1665 AD. His son Guru Gobind Singh ji, who spent 25 years of his life in the city, added greatly to the city’s size, giving it the new name of the City of Bliss (Anandpur). Also visit other historical Gurudwaras such as Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib, Gurdwara Guru Ka Mahal, Gurudwara Bhora Sahib, Gurudwara Thara Sahib, Gurudwara Akal Bunga, Gurudwara Damdama Sahib, Gurudwara Shaeedhi Bagh and Gurudwara Mata Jit Kaur.
Proceed to visit Virasat-E-Khalsa Museum (meaning Heritage of Khalsa) which is a magnificent heritage complex, dedicated to the nation on 13th April 1999 AD by the State Government of Punjab on the occasion of 300th Anniversary of Khalsa Panth and for the modern day Sikh religion. Built on 100 acres of land amidst rolling hills, Virasat-e-Khalsa is a unique piece of architecture in a shape like hands offering prayers. The Museum has two main complexes that are joined with a connecting ceremonial bridge. The canopy on this bridge is a strange experiment in architecture and is situated in the opposite direction of the sun and does not give shade. Later visit Anandgarh Fort situated about 800 meters southeast of Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib. This is the 1st and strongest fort of Anandpur Sahib which was founded in 1686 AD by Guru Gobind Singh Ji to protect Anandpur Sahib from outsiders. Experience the daily light & sound show held at Anandgarh Fort from 8:00 pm to 8:45 pm depicting scenes from the lives and times of the Sikh Gurus & also highlighting the history of the place.
Arrive Amritsar and transfer to hotel. Later proceed on a refreshing trip to the Wagah Border to enjoy the Retreat Ceremony on the border of India and Pakistan at the time of sunset. The elaborate changing-of-the-guards drill and the ceremonial lowering of the flags is carried out with a lot of strutting and intimidatory showing off by both sides.
Proceed on full day sightseeing tour visiting traditional bazaar, Jallianwala Bagh (site of the gruesome massacre of unarmed Indians by British troops), Maharaja Ranjeet Singh Museum (displaying paintings, weapons and manuscripts of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, fondly remembered as ‘lion of Punjab’, the only Sikh ruler who raised the flag of freedom because the whole India was occupied by the East India Company and played a decisive role in the Indian history and established very vast kingdom with the help of sword), Sri Harmandir Sahib (the most spiritual temple of Sikh faith, popularly known as Darbar Sahib or Golden Temple) and Gurudwara Baba Deep Singh Shaheed that commemorates the martyrdom of Baba Deep Singh Ji (revered as one of the most hallowed martyrs and scholars in Sikhism, remembered for his sacrifice and devotion to the teachings of the Sikh Guru), coming from Takht Sri Damdama Sahib (Talwandi Sabo) to liberate the Darbar Sahib, which had been attacked and desecrated by the Afghan invaders, was mortally wounded here on 11 November 1757 AD.
Sri Harmandir Sahib established in the year 1604 AD by the 5th Sikh Guru, Guru Arjan Dev Ji is built in a Sarovar (holy lake) that is fed by water from river Ravi and is at lower level than the surrounding land with 4 entrance doors overlooking all 4 sides and an altar decorated in the best traditions of art and architecture, signifying openness, egalitarianism and humility of Sikh religion. You will go around the sarovar and visit Akal Takht (Temporal seat of Sikhism). The holy book of Sikh Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is placed in every morning and taken back to Akal Takht Sahib in every evening. You may witness this ceremony in the evening called Palki Sahib Ceremony which is popular throughout the world. Then visit Durgiana Temple (also known as Lakshmi Narayan Temple, Durga Tirath and Sitla Mandir) – a premier Hindu temple but architecture similar to the Golden Temple of Sikhism.
Later in the evening transfer to the Amritsar airport to board flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, transfer to the international airport for boarding flight to the onward destination.

I want to thank the company "Minar travel" for the great organized tour of the Golden Triangle! All hotels on the tour were great, transportation is very convenient and comfortable! We had a very nice trip and we enjoyed of what the company arranged for us. The sightseeining of city and shopping all Minar guiders were kind and warm & sympathies like most Indian people that are met during last week. The driver that took us to Agra and Delhi also had Very patience. We are thankful of every thing. We were going to miss India and hope to come back again. I want to thank you for arranging our norooz tour on the behalf of all group. We had a very good start at the airport, our hotel on Cochin was very good and had beautiful garden & nice pool. We enjoyed the city tour & water fall and loved folk dance. Our driver and his aid & our tour leader were very helpful & nice people. I believe Zuri hotel is the best hotel that we visited in this trip and also house boat tour was really good. Leela hotel was realy the high end hotel in kerala with nice view and pool and the room also was excellent with arabian see view . We all realy enjoy our visit elephant camp& jungle. Again we end our trip to india with great memories!
