In vitro fertilization (IVF) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) can be conducted with the help of sperms retrieved from the male partner from the couple trying to conceive or from a suitable donor who produces healthy sperms.

IVF and ICSI with donor sperms is conducted across best IVF hospitals and clinics. The procedure used to produce a zygote during IVF remains the same even with the donor sperms.

During the IVF procedure, the sperms are retrieved from the donor and are purified, washed and centrifuged to get separate, healthy sperms for fertilization. One healthy sperm is then collected in a needle at once and injected into the health egg for fertilization. This is done for multiple eggs until health embryos are formed.

One of the healthy embryo is transferred into the womb of the mother for implantation. The embryo develops until the end of the term in the uterus of the mother.
